Payment Terms

These terms apply when you buy anything in GERMINALS from Darren.G ("we"). They add to our Terms of Service. Please read them before you buy. All sales are final, and purchases are not refunded if the game changes or ends, to the fullest extent the law allows. Stripe's Link service is the seller of record, as described under "Payment".

What you are buying

You can buy cosmetic items, cosmetic sets and ad removal ("Purchases"), as listed in Germ It Up! Prices are shown in US dollars before you pay. Your bank or card provider may add its own fees or currency conversion.

A Purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use it in the game while we choose to offer the game. You do not own the item as property. Purchases have no cash value, and cannot be sold, traded, gifted or exchanged. Cosmetic items don't affect how the game plays.

"Remove Ads" removes ad placements from the game on your account. It is a one-time purchase, and does not cover any other paid feature.

Your account

You must be signed in with Google to buy, so that your Purchase stays with your account. If you lose access to that Google account, or delete your data from your Germ Journal, you lose your Purchases, and they can't be restored or refunded.

If you are under the age of adulthood where you live, you must have permission from a parent or guardian before you buy.

Immediate delivery and your right to cancel

Purchases are digital, and are delivered to your account right after payment. By ticking "I agree" and completing a Purchase, you ask us to deliver it immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose any right to cancel or withdraw once delivery begins. This includes the 14-day withdrawal right that consumers in some countries, including the EU and UK, would otherwise have.

All sales are final

To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not offer refunds on Purchases. This includes where you change your mind, stop playing, buy by mistake, or already own part of a set. Because Link is the seller of record, its support team can also issue refunds in some cases, and consumer laws may apply. If a Purchase is refunded, we remove what it paid for. A set is sold at a fixed price, with no reduction for items you already own.

If the game changes or ends

We may change, rebalance, redesign or remove items, change prices, or pause or permanently shut down all or part of the game at any time, with or without notice. If that happens, to the fullest extent the law allows, you are not entitled to any refund, credit, replacement or other compensation for your Purchases, and we have no liability to you for your loss of access to them. You accept that a Purchase is for use only for as long as the game is available, which may be a short time.

We may also remove Purchases, without a refund, if your account is suspended or closed for breaking our Terms of Service.

Payment

Purchases are sold through Link, part of Stripe, using Stripe Managed Payments. Link is the merchant of record: it takes your payment, calculates and collects any sales tax, VAT or GST, sends your receipt, and handles payment support and disputes. Your statement will show LINK.COM*. Link's own terms for these sales also apply. Link receives your payment details, email address, name and billing address, and we never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of what you bought and when.

If a payment is refunded, reversed or disputed, we may remove what it paid for. For payment questions, you can contact Link support. For anything about the game or your items, email playgerminals@gmail.com.

Taxes

Prices are shown before tax. Any sales tax, VAT or GST due where you live is added and shown at checkout, and prices may be shown in your local currency there.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms removes rights that the law says cannot be excluded, such as mandatory consumer protections in the country where you live, or rights relating to items that do not work as described. If a law like that applies, these terms apply only as far as that law allows. Our total liability for a Purchase is otherwise limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and its courts deal with any dispute, subject to any mandatory protections where you live. We may update these terms for future Purchases. The version you accepted applies to Purchases you have already made.
